He is popular in Karnataka and Tamilnadu and in Tamilnadu he was extremely popular in Chennai as well as Coimbatore.
Life and career of Annamalai
Annamalai was born on 22nd June in Karur Tamil Nadu. Moreover his original name is Annamalai Kuppusamy. He went to local School till he completed his High School. And later attended PSG College Of Technology which is in Coimbatore and also went to Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
He is the 2011 batch of IPS officers. And later he was appointed as ASP of Karkala in 2013 in Karnataka. He was posted in SP of Udupi as well as Chikmagalur. The people were so pleased with his service that when he was posted in Udupi they refused to let him go when he was transferred to another village.
In his life we have two things that affected him firstly, a journey to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2018 and secondly the unfortunate death of his role model, IPS Madhukar Shetty. Moreover he was featured in Ted Talk and empowered youth with his speech. And also his interest in politics and his stated that when he returned from IPS post he will join in politics and the same happened in the year 2019. Joined the BJP party on 25th August 2020.
