She grew up in the suburbs of Leatherhead and had three siblings, Miko Giedroyc, Kasia Parham, and Coky Giedroyc(the award-winning director). She completed her schooling at Oxford High School. Further, she joined Trinity College at Cambridge University for her graduation. There she pursued an Italian major. Mel Giedroyc started her career by writing and performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival after graduating from university. She was an active theatre enthusiast in her transforming age. So she keenly participated in many dramas across colleges.

Mel Giedroyc married Ben Morris, a director, and a teacher at LAMDA. They are parents of two children, Florence Morris and Vita Morris. She’s quite outspoken about her relationship with her husband. Mel usually states that she wouldn’t have succeeded without his support.

Mel Career and Achievements

Best known for her comedy and presenting work with Susan Perkins. She was a presenter on Channel 4’s RISE and narrated Celebrity learning school in 2003. We can also find her on-screen appearance in ‘Light Lunch’, a comedy panel. This show was hosted alongside Sue( Susan Perkins), her college pal. The show was quite successful and ran from 1997 to 1998.  Her other work includes being a contestant on the 2005 series of The Games; co-starring in the 2005 BBC Game sitcom Blessed, and co-presenting Richard Hamson on a 5′ o clock tv show. She backed one of her huge projects in 2010, BBC 2’s latest series ‘The Great British Bake Off’, a baking competition.
