Later on, her daughter Rakhi Sawant posted a video of herself where she informed her fans about her loss while crying incessantly. Rakhi expressed that losing her mother made her feel helpless and lonely. Her viewers and friends send her condolences immediately after they got the news.
Rakhi Sawant invited everyone to her mother’s funeral on January 29th, 2023, at Municipal Christian Cemetery, Oshiwara, Andheri, West. Post to her death, Deepak Namjoshi, a pulmonologist, and director of CritiCare Asia Multispecialty Hospital & Research Center, said that she was admitted to the hospital 15 days before her death, by which the Cancer had already spread to her brain, liver, and lungs and hence was beyond repair. She was under treatment in another hospital before she was referred here.
