Tracey Holmes has also operated as a sports presenter for the television station Channel Seven. Her contract was terminated due to having an affair with a fellow journalist, Stan Grant. He was married as of then. Though the couple then moved overseas with Stan Grant and worked as a sports broadcaster there.

Tracey Holmes came back in 2006  and served as fill-in presenter for Richard Glover’s radio drive program on 702 ABC Sydney during the 2006/2007 summer break. Later on, she was re-appointed as the ABC Radio Grandstand announcer and took over from Simone Thurtell who moved to 1233 ABC Newcastle as Drive presenter. She later moved out of the country with her husband and worked there.

In 2014 Holmes came back as a reporter on ABC News Radio.
