Soon after that, Saget was cast on Full House. During Full house, he became notable as a host of ABC’S America’s Funniest Home Videos from the year 1989 to 1997. Saget acted in a guest appearance role in the show in the year 2009 along with voice interjection to celebrate his 20th anniversary.
After the completion of Full House, he continued with various other projects. Those included directing the ABC TV movie For Hope, which inspired his real-life story of his sister, who died due to scleroderma. Her name was Gay Saget.
