The name Big Scarr came into his life for a reason. When Alexander turned 16 years old, he was driving a car with his friend. But unfortunately, they both got into a very tragic accident that left a lot of injuries and scars on his entire body. Hence, he decided to keep Big Scarr as his stage name.

After his grandmother passed away, he moved back to live with his parents and siblings. While growing up he had eight brothers and sisters and he loved them to bits. We don’t have any information on who his mother was, what was her name, or what was her profession.

After being inspired by his fellow artist named Baby K, he gained interest in rapping and songwriting, Finally, in 2019 he released his first ever song, “Make a Play” on his channel on youtube. As soon as he uploaded the video, he got more than 50,000 views and grabbed the attention of a lot of popular YouTubers.

While in an interview, Big Scarr reminisced about how he had spent $20 dollars to record the song and $200 to make the music video to be able to make that video upload worthy. Then in 2020, he had the opportunity to sign a record label with Atlantic Records. The label that he signed was under the supervision of Gucci Mane’s 1017 records.
Finally, he gained more popularity when his song “SoIcyBoyz,” was released in 2021. This song also included his cousin Pooh Shiesty and American rapper Foogiano. After seeing the popularity and hit of the first song, he then released “SoIcyBoyz 2” and “SoIcyBoyz 3.” The Mixtape was reported one of Scarr’s best works in which Producer Tay Keith appeared in the second and third episodes, while Gucci Mane appears in the third.
