She started her career by appearing in Kannada show Bigg Boss. She did not make it to the finals but gain popularity. Her popularity was further increased from a film called ‘Uppu Huli Kara’.

Jayashree was found dead in her apartment on January 25th 2021. It is being said that she is found hanging in her room. The police decided that it is a suicide and yet investigation is going on. It is being said that on July or 2020 she posted in her Instagram that she is going to commit suicide and she is fighting depression. But later she deleted that post. And now she was found dead in an apartment hanging.
