Life and education

Ben Abbott was burned in an England tourist family moved to California in 1975.His exact birthday is unknown but he might be in his mind 40s. You also have a brother named Rich. 

Ben first made his own Sword and the age of 12. Not as a professional blackman but he could Forge his sword with whatever he could find like hair dryers and galvanized steel buck. 

Unlike other blacksmiths, Ben is a self taught bladesmith. He attended that skill with hours of Research and studying. Back when there was no internet please struggle to gather information he could get. But now the internet made it easy for Ben and he had actors for various resources, masters and a lot of classes. 

Moreover he is an electrical engineer and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in electrical engineering University. From Binghamton University he graduated in Anthropology also.

Career of Ben Abbott

Before coming to Forged in Fire reality TV show, he worked as an electrical engineer at California Institute of Technology. Also he was a part of a group of scientists working on LIGO.

When he first appeared in forged in fire, Ben was so enthusiastic to make a weapon and you want the episode with $10,000. Then he was invited for the champions of champions episode in Forged in Fire. And again he won additional prize money.

Later he also appeared as a judge in the 21st episode of Fourth series.

Now he has his own forge main things upon customer request. Is now working to create beautiful knife handles, jewellery and much more.
