College
Taylor Sander was selected by USC, Long Beach State, UC Irvine, and BYU. While he was at Brigham Young University(BYU) Sander had gained many honors to his name. He was named AVCA All-American, the 2014 AVCA Player of the Year, 2013 and 2014 MPSF Player of the Year, 2013 and 2014 MPSF Tournament MVP multiple times. He was also a four-time All-MPSF First Team. He upholds the BYU all-time single-match record for service aces. He has scored nine of them in a row. His service aces in his career are 182. He has also had many more records of his names.
2014 National Team
Taylor Sander was a player on Team USA in the 2014 FIVB World League. In the tournament, the 4th ranked the USA unsettled the 1st ranked Brazil to win the tournament. Here Sanders was named “best outside spiker” and tournament MVP.
He was on the USA men’s roster for the 2014 FIVB World Championships in Poland and was chosen as USA Volleyball’s Men’s Team Rookie of the Year.

Taylor Sander was a player in the U.S. team that played in the 2015 NORCECA Champions Cup in Detroit, Michigan, USA, May 21–23, 2015. He was also on the U.S. Preliminary Roster for the 2015 FIVB World League. He played in his first World League match facing Iran in 2015, in Los Angeles. He commenced all scorers with 19 points on 16 kills, two blocks, and one ace.
