The case came into the limelight when Bhagirath Jhala, a mamlatdar in Gandhidham filed an FIR against the three accused. Following this, the arrests were made. Currently, Pradeep is under three days of police custody.
However, this is not the first time that Pradeep has been arrested. Since 2010 to date, he has been arrested in a total of 11 cases. Previously, he has also been arrested for money laundering and corruption charges.
