Kidd Creole as per reports stabbed a man just before midnight on 1 August 2017 in New York. The man stabbed to death was named John Jolly. Prosecutors accused the rapper, of stabbing John Jolly, a homeless man, age 55, after getting infuriated because he thought he was hitting on him. John Jolly was stabbed twice in the chest with a steak knife. Glover’s attorney said he acted out of self-defense.
“They portray me as the villain when I was the one just walking down the street minding my business,” stated Glover. He continued “I had no intention when I left my house that night to do anything harmful to anybody, for any reason.”
