Jah shares the birth name, Siccature Alcock.  He was born on 11 October 1978. He was born and brought up in Kingston, Jamaica. Currently, he is 42 years old. Not much information has been disclosed on the internet about his education.

Jah Cure Career:

Jah debuted in the music industry in March 1997. During this time, he released the single “King in the Jungle’. It was a duet with Sizzla and was produced by Beres Hammond. Later, Beres became his mentor.

Consequently, Jah started releasing many singles which gained him recognition all over the world. Then, Beres Hammond started working with him and they worked on the same studio under the former’s guidance.

Cure went on a European tour with Beres and his family. He participated as a musician throughout the entire tour.

Later, Cure released three albums and singles while he was serving his punishment in the prison. Some of the singles have also topped the Jamaican Chart. His first album Free Jah’s Cure The Album the Truth was released in 2000. later, Ghetto Life was released in 2003 followed by freedom blues. Later, he released an album named True Reflections: A New Beginning from the prison.

He arranged his first-ever concert in the Netherlands at the Reggae Sundance Festival in August 2007.  He is also a part of Iyah Cure Productions and VP records.

In 2019, Jah Cure released an album named “Royal Soldier”.  on VP records. It also came as number one in the Billboard Reggae Chart.

Cure’s controversy:

Jah Cure was arrested in November 1998 because of possession of guns, robbery, and rape, He was tried in front of the Gun’s court.

Later in April 1999, he was held guilty and sentenced to fifteen years in prison. He was released from jail on parole on 28 July 2007. He served 8 years of the sentence.

Cure’s Family:

Jah Cure exchanged vows and tied knots with Kamila Mcdonald on 7 August 2011. They got married in Sandy Bay, Hanover. On 20 February 2012, the couple gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter named Kailani Belle.
