Street averaged 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in the first 15 games of the 1992–93 campaign. In his final game, a 65-56 loss to Duke, he scored 14 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and made 34 more free throws than he had previously. His 33rd and 34th consecutive free throws in that contest set a school record for Iowa.
