The incident

Logan Mwangi was reported missing from his home in Sarn, South Wales. It was around 5.45 am on Saturday when the parents realized he was not at home. The neighbors claim that they heard his mother frantically shouting about the back door open.

His body was discovered later that day in the nearby River Ogmore. The young boy was hurried to the Princess of Wales Hospital, where it was affirmed dead.

The neighbors stated that the detectives had taken the video from the family’s doorbell camera.

Police divers spent numerous days combing through the waters of the Ogmore River following Logan’s death.

A local woman revealed that Logan and his family were self-isolating at the family home after being tested positive for Covid. They claim that the child was beyond happy over his mother getting married.

There is nothing much known about the cause of the incident. Though the police have announced that the pair, accompanied by a 13-year-old boy, has been remanded in custody and will appear before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court the next day.
