Vivrant Sharma was born in a very normal, middle-class, Brahmin family in Jammu and Kashmir. His father Sushil Sharma was a businessman. Sushil was the MD of the Leo Chemicals. On November 4, 2021, he played his first Twenty20 match for Jammu & Kashmir in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Finally on December 23, 2022, Vivrant not only became a Crorepati but also got so much success and recognition at the IPL Auction. According to the reports, Sharma was at his team hotel in Ahmedabad when the IPL auction took place.
