Rajni bata was born in Karachi present-day Pakistan. Later she moved to India after partition. At the age of 17 She was married into a Ludhiana based business family.
She has three brothers and they went to boarding school. Since childhood she was interested in baking and Android for baking goods in Punjab Agricultural University
Career of Rajni Bector.
She was really famous for her baking skills and recipes of ice cream among her friends. After she completed her course in baking she started a small business with an investment of just 300 rupees. She used that 300 rupees to buy an oven and an ice cream churner and started a small business in her backyard. But she was blessed with losses also. With her husband’s support she started an ice cream manufacturing unit in 1978. Named her unit Creamica. The name was named after a hindi phrase cream ka. Since then her business had grown into vertical factors.
In the 90s she started making buns biscuit and sauces also.This was an advantage when McDonald’s entered India and explored local shops to supply their Buns. The company also manufactures full charge cakes Pizza and buns quick service restaurants.
In 2020 1 January she was awarded the prestigious Padma Shri award by the government of India.
