His grandfather is also a part of this supermarket chain.ย And He had 2 siblings Haley and Hailey Meijer. His father separated from his birth mother Deborah and again remarried Liesel Litzenburger who is an author.
Coming to his education he attended East Grand Rapids High school. And also he studied in the US Military Academy at Westpoint.ย
Later he graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor Degree in Cultural Anthropology. Moreover,he also obtained a Master’s degree from New York University.
