This time the short stories will be directed by R. Balki, Konkana Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, and Sujoy Ghosh. Moreover, this season has a compelling star cast including prominent actors like Kajol, Neena Gupta, and Mrunal Thakur among others. It is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2023.
About Lust Stories
Lust Stories is a Hindi anthology series that shows stories that depicts the dynamics and complexities of relationships in the present day. The first season of the series was released on June 15, 2018. It starred Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pendnekar, Manisha Koirala and others. Season 1 of Lust Stories consisted of four stories directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibaker Banerjee, and Karan Johar respectively.
After getting a good response from its niche audience, the anthology is getting renewed for another season. Just like its previous season, it will feature four different stories directed by four different directors. This time, the list of directors will have the Cheeni Kum, Paa, and Padman director, R Blaki, the director of the Kahani franchise, Sujoy Ghosh, actor cum director Konkana Sen Sharma and Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the man who directed the popular Bollywood movie Badhai Ho.

Lust Stories Season 2: Story
The fresh season of the Netflix anthology will see a series of four short stories based in different surroundings but with a common topic of women’s sexual desires and needs. The segment directed by R Balki has Mrunal Thakur and Angad Bedi in the lead roles. Along with them, Neena Gupta has also been roped in for a key role in the short film. It will be a light-hearted comedy drama revolving around the central theme of lust.
The segment which will have Kajol in the lead role will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. Sujoy Ghosh’s segment features Tammannaah Bhatia and Vijay Verma as protagonists. In addition to that, the fourth short story which is being directed by Konkana Sen Sharma has Tillotama Shome and Amruta Subhash as the leads.

The makers have not made any official announcement regarding the release date for the second season of Lust Stories. As per the speculations, it was to be released around Valentine’s day 2023. However, the series is currently in its production stage and is expected to be released by the end of this year.
