Hannah Hampton Dropped by England Over Behaviour Issues

Hannah Hampton, the goalkeeper for England and Aston Villa, has been dismissed from the national squad due to her conduct and attitude at team camps.

Since their victory at the Euros in the summer, the 21-year-old has not been chosen by Lionesses manager Sarina Wiegman, and it is doubtful that she will be added back to the squad.

The story came soon after Hampton showed up uninvited to Villa’s match against Chelsea after manager Carla Ward left him out of the team.

According to Wiegman, Hampton’s absence from the national team was caused by “some personal concerns that she needs to settle, so for her at this moment, it’s preferable for her to stay at her club” before the September World Cup qualifiers.

After recovering from an injury and becoming eligible for the first time in four games, Hampton has left off the first-team roster at Kingsmeadow.
