In 2012, Dujardin won the 2012 World Cup freestyle event held at Olympia, riding Valegro. In 2015, on the final day of the FEI World Cup Dujardin and Valegro won with a score of 94.169%, making them the only competition pair to have ever held four consecutive world titles. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, Charlotte and Valegro also won double individual gold medals making her acquire the title of the first British woman to retain an individual title of Olympic. Finally, after winning 3 Olympic Gold medals (2 individual & 1 team), 1 Silver team gold, and numerous world titles Dujardin wanted Valegro to end his career after the 2016 Summer Olympics.
