Sergey Gorokh went to check on Moiseev and found his body in his apartment, an ambulance was called immediately, but doctors declared Boris Moiseev dead when they reach the hospital. Before Boris Moiseev’s death, multiple strokes had occurred to him.

Boris Moiseev’s childhood was very tough as he was born in a prison in Belarus, at that time Belarus was under the control of the Soviet Union. His mother’s name was Genya Borisovna she was a political prisoner, Boris also has 2 big brothers Tolya (1941) and Marx (1943).
His mother Genya Borisovna was forced to work at Mogilev tannery to feed Boris and his brothers. Boris never met his father and dont even know his name, only thing he knows about his father is that he used to work at the same colony they live in.
In his childhood, Boris was very weak and reserved, thus his mother sends him to the dancing studio at the neighbourhood House of Culture, after that dance become his passion, and the modest, reserved youngster was able to totally liberate himself and express his emotions on stage through dancing.
When Boris turned 14 years old he joined the Minsk Choreographic School and learned the fundamentals of classical dance from the well-known Nina Mlodzinskaya, who once shared the stage with Anna Pavlova.

After Moiseev completed his school studies, he left for Minsk the capital of Belarus, to complete his graduation. After graduation, he joined the Kharkov Opera House ballet club, where he quickly progressed in his profession from a side artist to a choreographer. The young dancer relocated to Kaunas, Lithuania, in 1975, where he took up the role of Trimitas orchestra choreographer.
Boris gradually started to divert from traditional dance and move more and more toward pop music. He put together the Expression trio, with two amazing dancers, so they could convey their artistic concepts to the stage.
Over time Laima Vaikule started singing as a performer in the well-liked seaside show, Yuras Perle. Alla Pugacheva began liking Moiseev’s trio and invited them to perform in Moscow. The Trio started to tour Primadonna, Christina Orbakaite, and Vladimir Presnyakov before Moiseev embarked on a solo journey in 1987.
The performers were able to work at the top clubs in Italy, France, and America for four years. They also appeared on Italian television, and Boris even presented musical theatre acts in New Orleans for a while.
After the soviet union collapsed the trio came back to their homeland where they staged “Borya M + Boney M,” a massive show that featured the legendary Boney M. The trio received a lot of love from the audience and got named Boris Moiseev and His Lady.
The artist simultaneously appeared in movies, performed in TV shows, and hosted a programme called Fashion Sentence. Later Boris was recognised as a Russian Honored Artist in 2006.
