Under the supervision of Romanian-born coaches Günther Bosch and Ion iriac and after years of rigorous practice, Becker made his professional debut in 1984. In that same year, he won his first professional doubles championship which was held in Munich. After a year, soon, In 1985, although he was still a kid, Becker won the Tennis World Young Masters at the NEC in Birmingham. It was like Becker had been born to win in the games he played. Back to back, Boris started to compete and then finally won his first major singles championship in June at Queen’s Club.

Becker started winning back-to-back games, taking the tennis world by surprise. Soon, he had won 49 singles victories and 15 doubles victories throughout his career. He won singles matches at the Masters / ATP Tour World Championships in 1988, 1992, and 1995, the WCT Finals in 1988, and the Grand Slam Cup in 1996 in addition to his six Grand Slam victories.

To honor his glorious playing career, his name was included in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2003. Later, he was also named the 11th-best player ever.

Becker’s trial at Southwark Crown Court in London began on March 21, 2022, This happened after he was accused that he has omitted to turn over trophies and assets valued at £2.5 million to discharge debt after his bankruptcy. Later on, Becker was found guilty of four offenses on April 8, 2022. And then, on April 29, 2022, The court ordered that He receive a 30-month prison term for all the offenses against him.
